I’ve been a business owner for 6 years and founded Troutner Creative, LLC in 2024 to make it official. I use systems like Honeybook to make it a great experience as a customer.

I have been a photographer for 10 years. I love to create natural, authentic images that feel like you. That means I’m there to highlight you, not tell you exactly what to do.

People sometimes think it’s weird that I am an engineer and a creative. So do I, but actually I find these skills complement each other very well. You need to know technical skills to work a camera, edit, and build winning systems.
I’ve also applied these skills as a Systems Engineer (my day job) and in the past as a Live Video Producer.

I wear many hats, but the bottom line is, I want to serve you well and be your friend.
I’m a creative thinker, storyteller, artist, nerd, and Jesus follower living in the Columbus, Ohio area. I’m inspired by community and the ideas of beauty and joy. I’m learning to combine my passion for engineering and technical nerd stuff with my passion for creative artistry.
I enjoy puns and hearing people share their stories. I often can be found wearing fun socks and spending time with my wife Sarah, my friends, and my family.
I’ve got a creative brain. There’s no denying it.
While having a niche is important (it’s why I focus on certain areas of photography and no others), I want to be able to be free to be creative in areas I don’t currently offer services specifically.
I’m a system integrator from my day job to the things I think about as I fall asleep. I love making systems work for people. I’ve done this in the past with live events with AVL technologies and I’m open to figuring out if that’s something I’ll do more of as I own and operate Troutner Creative, LLC.
